Mail in ballots must be received no later than

Step 1
Fill Out the Ballot
Ensure you fill in only one box, and it must be clearly marked with an X

Step 2
Fold the Ballot along the perforations so the writing is on the inside and place the Ballot inside the envelope marked
A Secrecy Sleeve
then seal the envelope.

Step 3
Place the Secrecy Sleeve A into the
B Declaration Envelope and seal the envelope.

Step 4
If you had help filling out the Ballot (you didn’t mark it yourself), proceed to
Steps 5 and 6.
Otherwise, fill out the front side of the
B Declaration Envelope (fig.1) and sign in front of a witness who is at least 18 years old and knows you. That witness then completes and signs the bottom of the B Declaration Envelope (fig. 2) . Place the envelope into the
C Return Envelope and proceed to Step 7.

Step 5
If you had help from a friend or relative to mark the Ballot (you didn't mark it yourself),
that friend or relative (who is at least 18 years old) must complete and sign the bottom portion of the B Declaration Envelope(fig. 1) and then complete the D Declaration of Voting Assistant form. (Step 6)

Step 6
The friend or relative who completed the bottom of the B Declaration Envelope in Step 5 then completes the D Declaration of Voting Assistant Form.(fig. 1)
Have this form witnessed by a third person (not the voter) who is at least 18 years old who then completes section
#2 of the D Declaration of Voting Assistant form.(fig. 2)
Once the D Declaration of Voter Assistant form is completed, place the B Declaration Envelope and the D Declaration of Voting Assistant form into
C Return Envelope

Step 7
Seal the envelope. Place the postage prepaid C Return Envelope in any Canada Post mail-box, or courier the envelope, or deliver it by hand to the Chief Ratification Officer or the Deputy Ratification Officer at any Polling Station.

Step 8
How to confirm your ballot has been received:
Phone 236-662-6810 if you wish to confirm that your mailed ballot has been received by the Chief Ratification Officer. Carolyn will ask you questions to confirm your identity, and if the answers are correct she will call you back at the phone number on file at the TGG Government Office and tell you whether the Chief Ratification Officer has or has not received your returned ballot package.
If the package is not received, you can still vote in person at any polling station.
